The Copa is the comfort play — soft kangaroo or calfskin leather that molds to the foot and breaks in fast. The F50 is the speed line, stripped down and light for players who win games in a straight line. The X line that preceded F50 has been retired.
Fit runs slightly snug, so most players take their true size; if you're between sizes or have a wider foot, go up a half size, and remember the leather Copa stretches with wear. Materials trade off feel against durability: kangaroo leather holds less moisture and shapes to the foot, calfskin is tougher, and engineered synthetics keep weight down and shrug off water. Newer models lean on water-repellent microfiber uppers.
