The 4×6 is the standard goal for U6–U8 small-sided (4v4) soccer — the first "real" goal most young players ever shoot at. At 4 feet high by 6 feet wide, it's right-sized for little legs, backyards, and early club training, without being so big that beginners get discouraged.
