    About our soccer nets

Match the opening, then the twine.

A soccer net is rated to a goal opening — height by width — plus a top and bottom depth that set how far it runs back. Match the opening to your frame first, then pick the twine: 2mm for practice, 3mm as the club and high-school standard, 4mm for competitive and stadium goals. Knotless solid braid won’t fray where strands cross, and HTPP or UV-treated netting survives a season outdoors. Every Kwik Goal net here is sized to a standard goal, so you order once and it fits.

    Coach's guide

How to pick the right soccer net

Two questions sort it out: what goal you’re netting, and how hard it’s going to get hit. Here’s how I’d size it up for one of my own teams.

    1. Match the net to your goal size

Measure the opening — height by width — of your frame, then pick the match. A full-size 8×24 net won’t fit a 7×21 high-school goal, so measure before you order.

    2. Match the twine to how hard it's used

    2mm twine

Recreation & practice goals. Lightest, most affordable.

    3mm twine

Club & high-school standard. Best balance of strength and price.

    4mm twine

Competitive & stadium goals that see daily shots and weather.

    Knotless braid

Won’t fray or unravel where strands cross. The durable pick.

    HTPP / UV-treated

Resists sun and moisture for nets left out year-round.

    Frame still solid? Re-net it.

A replacement net installs in under an hour with net clips or bungee fasteners, and costs a fraction of a new goal — it’ll add years to a frame you already own. The trick is ordering to your frame’s opening, not your old net. Not sure if yours is worth saving? Compare full goals or call and chat — we’ll help you decide.

    More about our soccer nets

Whether you’re re-netting a high-school goal before the season, kitting out a club’s small-sided fields, hanging a 4mm net on a stadium frame that takes daily shots, or fixing a backyard goal your kid wore through, the right net comes down to two things — the size of your opening and how hard it gets used. We carry full-size, youth, indoor/futsal, and backstop nets for every one of those situations.

This collection runs the full Kwik Goal range: 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm twine; knotless solid-braid and HTPP / UV-treated netting that won’t rot after one summer; full-size 8×24 and 7×21 nets; replacement and box & stadium nets; youth and small-sided sizes; plus the Kwik Lock clips and bungee fasteners that hold it all in place. Goal Kick Soccer is an authorized Kwik Goal dealer, so every net is the real thing — built to the spec on the box, not a thin copy. Need the goal too? Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about soccer nets and replacement goal nets.

What size soccer net do I need?
Measure your goal frame’s opening — height by width — and match the net to it. The common sizes are 8×24 (full-size / regulation), 7×21 (high school and club), 6.5×18.5 (youth match), and 6.5×12 or smaller for small-sided play. A full-size 8×24 net won’t fit a 7×21 high-school frame, so measure before you order. Between two sizes? Call or chat and we’ll confirm the fit.
    What's the difference between 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm nets?
It’s the twine thickness, and it tracks how hard the net gets used. 2mm is lightest and cheapest — fine for practice and rec goals. 3mm is the club and high-school standard, the best balance of strength and price. 4mm is heavy-duty for competitive and stadium goals that take daily shots and sit out in the weather. When in doubt, 3mm covers most teams.
Can I replace just the net instead of buying a new goal?
Almost always, yes. If the frame is straight and solid, a replacement net is the fast, low-cost fix — most install in under an hour with net clips or bungee fasteners, and re-netting costs a fraction of a new goal. The trick is ordering the right size: match the net to your frame’s opening, not the old net. Send us your goal’s dimensions and we’ll point you to the right one.
Which soccer nets hold up best outdoors?
For nets that live outside year-round, look for knotless solid-braid construction and HTPP or UV-treated twine — the braid won’t fray where strands cross, and the UV treatment resists sun and moisture so the net doesn’t rot after one summer. Step up to 4mm twine for goals that see daily use. For practice goals you take down between sessions, 2mm or 3mm is plenty.
Do you sell net clips, fasteners, and pegs?
Yes. We carry Kwik Lock net clips, bungee net fasteners, and the anchor pegs that hold a goal down — everything you need to hang a replacement net and keep it tight. If you’re re-netting a goal, grab the clips or fasteners in the same order so you’re not waiting on a second shipment before game day.
Are these genuine Kwik Goal nets, and how fast does shipping arrive?
Every net here is genuine Kwik Goal — Goal Kick Soccer has been an authorized dealer since 2001, and we ship from in-stock inventory. Orders leave our Iowa warehouse within 1–2 business days, with ground delivery typically 2–5 business days in the U.S. Free shipping on orders $85 and up, and expedited options at checkout if a game or season opener is bearing down.
