Soccer Goals & Freight Shipments before you do anything.
02
Return Window
Items may be returned within 30 days of delivery as long as they meet the following conditions:
- Product is unused, unwashed, and in original condition
- Returned in original packaging (shoe boxes, tags, and polybags included)
- Sets must be returned complete (e.g., jacket and pants together)
Why this matters: Keeping items in original condition ensures we can offer fair returns to every player who shops with us.
Important: Items worn outside or visibly used cannot be accepted for return.
03
Team & Group Orders
Team gear is a little different. Because customized and decorated items are made specifically for your club, they generally can't be resold — which means:
-
Decorated, customized, numbered, logoed, or team-store items are not returnable unless we made an error on the order
- We strongly recommend confirming sizes before submitting team orders — mistakes on a 30-player roster add up fast
- Depending on the club program, sizing samples or try-on kits may be available — reach out before your order window opens and we'll see what we can arrange
Why this matters: Custom gear is made specifically for your club — once it's printed or embroidered, we can't resell it to another player.
Ordering for a team? Check with your coach or club administrator before returning any team gear — most clubs have their own process for handling sizing issues.
If we made the error — wrong number, wrong name, wrong logo — we'll fix it. Email support@goalkicksoccer.com with your order number and we'll sort it out.
04
Exchanges
Want to swap for a different size or item? Here's the fastest way:
- Place a new order at your convenience so you get the replacement quickly
- Send the original item back through our Returns Portal
- We'll refund the original once it's received and inspected
Need a different size? Exchanges are the fastest way to get the right gear in your hands — no need to wait for a refund to come through before reordering.

Defective or Damaged Items
If you believe you've received a defective product, contact us within 60 days of purchase for an exchange or refund. Send a photo if you can — it speeds things up.
Normal wear and tear (color fading, loose threads, sole wear, stud wear, etc.) is not considered a defect.
Items with extended manufacturer warranties (certain cleats, goalkeeper gloves, etc.) will be handled according to those terms. We'll help you file the claim.
06
Cleats
Cleats are one of the most common items we fit, and we want you to get the right pair. A few specific rules:
- Cleats may be tried on indoors on clean carpet to check fit
- Cleats worn outside, on turf, grass, concrete, or any playing surface cannot be returned
- Cleats must be returned in the original box with all tags and packaging
Why this matters: Once cleats hit a playing surface, the studs and soleplate show it — and that means we can't sell them to the next player. Trying them indoors first is the safest way to know.
07
Return Shipping
-
The customer pays return shipping unless Goal Kick Soccer made an error or the item is confirmed defective
- You can use your own carrier or the label option in our Returns Portal, whichever is easier
-
Always keep your tracking number until your return is fully processed — lost packages without tracking can't be refunded
Tip: Use a trackable shipping service — it protects you if the package is delayed or lost in transit.

Soccer Goals & Freight Shipments
Full-size and oversized goals ship by freight truck, not UPS or FedEx. Because of what it costs to move them and how they're packed at the factory, returns on these items work differently from the rest of the store. Please read this section before you order.
-
14-day return window from the date of delivery — not the standard 30
-
Contact us first. Freight returns require authorization before anything moves. We book the return pickup — don't arrange your own carrier, and don't refuse delivery
-
Return freight is the customer's cost. We arrange it and deduct the cost from your refund. Return freight on a goal currently runs $500 to $1,200 depending on size, destination, and carrier rates at the time
-
A 25% restocking fee applies to every accepted goal return
-
Assembled goals cannot be returned — once the frame goes together, we can't resell it
Restocking fee — please read this part. Every accepted goal return carries a restocking fee of 25% of the purchase price, minimum. If the goal does not come back in its original packaging, packed the same way it was shipped to you, an additional 25% applies — for a total restocking fee of up to 50%. Keep the crate, cartons, banding, and all packing material until you're certain you're keeping the goal.
Why this matters: Goals leave the factory in packaging built to survive a freight truck. Repacked loosely, they come back bent, scratched, or missing hardware — and at that point we can't sell them to the next club at all.
What a return actually costs you. Between the restocking fee and return freight, a goal return can consume most of the purchase price. On a $1,500 goal returned in its original packaging, a $375 restocking fee plus roughly $800 of return freight leaves about $325 coming back to you. We'd much rather help you order the right goal the first time — email us before you buy.
Freight charges paid on your original order are not refunded. Goals are never sold with free freight — the shipping you paid at checkout covers moving the goal to you, and that cost stands whether or not the goal comes back.
Inspecting your freight delivery
A freight delivery isn't a box on your porch. What you do in the first five minutes decides whether a damage claim goes anywhere:
-
Inspect the shipment while the driver is still there — before you sign the delivery receipt
-
Write any damage on the delivery receipt — dents, tears, crushed corners, missing pieces — before the driver leaves. This is the single most important step
- Anything you find after the driver has gone must be reported to support@goalkicksoccer.com with photos within 24 hours of delivery
- A signed clean receipt makes a carrier damage claim very difficult to win, and claims raised after 24 hours generally can't be filed at all
Sign for it carefully. Once you sign a clean delivery receipt, the carrier's position is that the goal arrived in good condition. Take two minutes at the truck — it's the difference between a paid claim and an expensive lesson.
Not sure which goal fits your field or program? Email support@goalkicksoccer.com before you order. We've been fitting clubs, schools, and parks with goals since 2001 — a five-minute conversation costs a lot less than a freight return.
09
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are issued to the original payment method — usually within 1–3 business days. Your bank may take a few additional days to post it to your account.
If your item was returned as part of an exchange, allow 1–2 weeks for your replacement to arrive.
In certain situations we may offer store credit as an alternative. If that applies to your return, we'll walk through the options with you before processing.
10
Holiday Returns
Orders placed in November or December can be returned through January 15th to make gift giving easier.
The extended holiday window does not apply to soccer goals or other freight-shipped items, which keep their 14-day window year round.
11
Items That Cannot Be Returned
- Customized, worn, or laundered items
- Decorated items (anything with customization, numbering, names, or logos applied)
- Warm-up suit parts returned individually (jacket and pants must come back together)
- Cleats that have been worn on any playing surface
- Soccer goals that have been assembled, installed, or anchored
We reserve the right to decline returns that don't meet these conditions. On standard items, a restocking fee may apply based on timing, item condition, or missing packaging — we'll always communicate with you before applying one.
Freight-shipped soccer goals carry their own restocking schedule — a 25% minimum, up to 50% — plus return freight. See
Soccer Goals & Freight Shipments for the full terms.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions we get.
What if I lost my order number?
No worries — check your email inbox for your order confirmation from Goal Kick Soccer. If you still can't find it, email support@goalkicksoccer.com with the name and email on the order and we'll look it up.
Can I return a gift?
Yes. Gift recipients can return eligible items within 30 days of delivery (or through January 15th for holiday orders). We'll typically issue store credit rather than refunding the original payment method, so the gift-giver isn't notified. Email us and we'll set it up.
Can I return items bought during a sale?
Yes — sale items follow the same 30-day return window as regular-priced items, as long as they meet the return conditions (unworn, in original packaging, etc.). Refunds are issued for the price you actually paid. Items marked Final Sale or Clearance may be excluded — check the product page at time of purchase for specifics.
Can I return a team store item?
Team store items — anything with a club logo, player name, number, or custom decoration — generally aren't returnable because they can't be resold. The exception is if we made an error on the order (wrong name, wrong number, etc.). Reach out and we'll make it right.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Absolutely. The fastest way is to place a new order for the correct size right away, then send the original back through our
Returns Portal. We'll refund the first order once it's received.
Can I return cleats after wearing them?
Cleats can be tried on indoors on clean carpet to check fit, but once they've been worn on turf, grass, concrete, or any playing surface, we can't accept them back. If the fit isn't right, try them indoors first and start a return right away if they don't work out.
Can I return a soccer goal?
Yes, within
14 days of delivery, as long as it hasn't been assembled. Email
support@goalkicksoccer.com first — we book the freight pickup, so please don't arrange your own carrier. A
25% restocking fee applies to every accepted goal return, and the return freight cost is deducted from your refund. Full details are in
Soccer Goals & Freight Shipments.
What does returning a goal actually cost me?
Two charges come out of your refund: the restocking fee and the return freight. On a $1,500 goal returned within 14 days, unassembled and in its original packaging, that's a $375 restocking fee plus return freight of roughly $500 to $1,200 depending on your location — so you'd see somewhere around $325 to $625 back. If the goal comes back in something other than its original packaging, the restocking fee doubles to 50% ($750) and the refund shrinks accordingly. That's why we'd rather spend five minutes on the phone before you order.
I already put the goal together. Can I still send it back?
Unfortunately not. Once a goal has been assembled, installed, or anchored, we can't return it to sellable condition, so assembled goals aren't eligible for return. If something is defective or arrived damaged, that's a different situation — email support@goalkicksoccer.com with photos and we'll sort it out.
My goal arrived damaged. What do I do?
The most important step happens at the truck: inspect the shipment before you sign, and write any damage on the delivery receipt while the driver is still there. If you spot damage after the driver has left, email support@goalkicksoccer.com with photos within 24 hours of delivery. A clean signed receipt and a late report both make carrier claims extremely difficult, so a couple of minutes at delivery protects you.
What if my item is defective?
Contact us within 60 days of purchase at support@goalkicksoccer.com. A photo of the defect speeds things up. If the item has an extended manufacturer warranty, we'll help you file that claim directly with the brand.
When will I get my refund after I ship it?
Here's the full timeline: shipping typically takes 3–7 business days depending on your carrier and location. Once your return arrives, we inspect it within 1–2 business days. After inspection, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 1–3 business days, and your bank may take a few additional days to post the credit. End-to-end, most refunds complete within 1–2 weeks of shipping.
How long does a refund take?
Once your return is received and inspected, we process refunds within 1–3 business days. Your bank may take a few additional days to post the credit to your account. Exchanges typically take 1–2 weeks end-to-end.
Who pays return shipping?
The customer covers return shipping unless we made an error or the item is confirmed defective — in those cases, we'll provide a prepaid label. You can use your own carrier or the label option in our Returns Portal. Always keep your tracking number until the return is fully processed. Freight-shipped goals are handled separately — see
Soccer Goals & Freight Shipments.
