The Chelsea vs Liverpool game yesterday was interesting. Both teams wanted to get the win. It was the semifinal of the Capital One Cup. It seemed to be an even match, which regulation ended in a tie. There was a lot of heated exchanges between the teams. It looked like there was going to be a brawl after Chelsea's Diego Costa stepped on Liverpool's Martin Škrtel. That's when everyone got angry and wanted to kill Costa. During extra time Chelsea finally was able to put one away off a corner kick. The man of the match was the goalkeeper of Chelsea Thibaut Courtois. He made three great saves to keep Chelsea tied and in the lead late in the game.
Diego Costa might be suspended for the upcoming game against Manchester City for the actions he took in the game yesterday. The referee will be called upon to see if a suspension is warranted, if he saw the two plays in question. If he is suspended against the number two ranked team, Chelsea might be in trouble. With Manchester City losing their best player to the African Cup of Nations, they have not been playing that well. We shall see if the suspension evens out the teams.
