When Christian Pulisic steps onto the field for the USMNT's World Cup opener, every soccer-playing kid in America is going to be staring at his feet. The boots they'll see, a white PUMA Ultra 6 scattered with blue stars, aren't a standard release. They're a one-off signature edition designed by Brooklyn streetwear brand KidSuper, built specifically for Captain America's home World Cup. Here's the full story on Christian Pulisic's World Cup 2026 cleats: what they are, what's hidden in the design, the tech underneath, and how to get a pair of your own before kickoff.
Pulisic is wearing the PUMA x KidSuper Ultra 6 "Pulisic", a limited signature edition of PUMA's Ultra 6 speed boot, created in collaboration with KidSuper founder and designer Colm Dillane. PUMA and Pulisic unveiled the boot on May 26, 2026 with a full New York City takeover, starting at the Fulton Street Seaport and ending with the official reveal at KidSuper Studios in Brooklyn, a fitting launch city, with New York/New Jersey hosting the World Cup Final on July 19.
This is actually the second time PUMA has paired Pulisic with KidSuper on a boot, and Dillane is no stranger to the sport. He played professionally for a year, built a soccer field on the roof of his Brooklyn headquarters, and previously designed World Cup kits and a custom boot for Héctor Bellerín. For 2026, the brief was bigger: design the boots the captain of the host nation will wear at a home World Cup.
The Ultra 6 Pulisic edition is loaded with personal details, and each one tells part of his story:
Strip away the artwork and this is a full-spec PUMA Ultra 6: the same boot in PUMA's current speed silo, just dressed for the occasion. That means:
The Ultra is PUMA's out-and-out speed boot, the silo worn by Pulisic week in and week out at AC Milan, and the Ultra 6 generation sharpened the fit through the midfoot and toe so the boot feels like it's pulling you forward before you even move.
The elite match version Pulisic wears dropped May 26 in limited quantities through PUMA.com and KidSuper's Brooklyn store at €240, and pairs went fast. But here's the good news: the same KidSuper x Pulisic design is available in the Ultra 6 Pro, and we have it in stock.
The Puma Ultra 6 Pro KidSuper x Christian Pulisic FG/AG carries every signature detail (the scattered blue stars, the "I BELIEVE" laces, the hidden insole tribute, the iridescent soleplate) on a versatile FG/AG plate that works on firm ground and artificial grass, at $140 in US men's sizes 7–12. As an authorized PUMA dealer, we got our allocation, but this is a World Cup release: when it's gone, it's gone.

And keep an eye on the boot landscape as the tournament rolls on. Most of PUMA's 70+ World Cup players, including Cody Gakpo, Kai Havertz, and Neymar Jr., are wearing the "Showtime" colorway, and PUMA is debuting a brand-new Ultra 7 during the tournament itself.
The World Cup runs June 11 – July 19 across the US, Canada, and Mexico, and Pulisic will captain the USMNT on home soil for the biggest tournament ever played here. Whether you're chasing his speed or just backing the boys this summer, we've got you covered:
We've been outfitting players from our shop in Spencer, Iowa since 2001, and as a coach who's stood on a national championship sideline, I can tell you the right boot won't make you Pulisic, but the wrong one will absolutely slow you down. If you need help picking a speed boot for your game, reach out. That's what we're here for.
Pulisic is a PUMA athlete. He wears the PUMA Ultra speed silo, and at the 2026 World Cup he's wearing a limited PUMA x KidSuper Ultra 6 signature edition.
The scattered blue stars are KidSuper designer Colm Dillane's hand-drawn take on American iconography, a nod to the US flag and Pulisic's "Captain America" nickname, without being a literal flag print.
Only cosmetically. The signature edition uses the same mesh upper, GripControl Pro skin, PWRTAPE SQD frame, and SPEEDSYSTEM soleplate as the standard Ultra 6. The differences are the graphics and personal details.
The elite match version released at €240 in limited quantities via PUMA.com and KidSuper's Brooklyn store. The Ultra 6 Pro version with the same KidSuper x Pulisic design is available at Goal Kick Soccer for $140 in US men's sizes 7–12.
